Kısa Özgeçmiş (In Turkish): Mustafa Altun lisans ve yüksek lisans derecelerini sırasıyla 2004 ve 2007 yıllarında İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi Elektronik ve Haberleşme Mühendisliği Bölümünden almıştır. 2012 yılında Minnesota Üniversitesinde Elektrik Mühendisliği Doktora ile Matematik Doktora Yandal programlarından mezun olmuştur. 2012 yılından itibaren İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi Elektronik Mühendisliği Bölümünde öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır; bu süre zarfında Virginia Üniversitesi, Massachusetts Üniversitesi - Amherst ve California Üniversitesi - Los Angeles'ta da görevlerde bulunmuştur. Araştırmaları elektronik cihazlar ve devreler alanındaki deneysel ve hesaplamalı çalışmaları kapsamaktadır. Dr. Altun, Avrupa Birliği H2020 projesi, TÜBİTAK-ABD Ulusal Bilim Vakfı ortak projesi ve TÜBİTAK Kariyer ve Üniversite-Sanayi İşbirliği projeleri gibi çeşitli TÜBİTAK projelerinde koordinatör/baş araştırmacı olarak görev yapmıştır. 80'den fazla hakemli yayının, 5 patentin ve 2 kitap bölümünün yazarıdır. Dr. Altun, 2 doktora sonrası araştırmacı, 3 doktora mezunu ve 10 yüksek lisans mezunu olmak üzere 20'den fazla lisansüstü öğrencinin akademik danışmanlığını yapmıştır. Dr. Altun, IEEE Türkiye Araştırma Teşvik Ödülü, ODTÜ Prof. Dr. Mustafa N. Parlar Vakfı Araştırma Teşvik Ödülü, Bilim Akademisi Genç Bilim İnsanı Ödülü, TÜBİTAK Proje Performans Ödülü, TÜBİTAK Başarı Ödülü, TÜBİTAK Kariyer Ödülü ve Werner von Siemens Mükemmellik Ödülü'nün sahibidir.
